Baloomination: Balloons sway and fall while changing colors=Zou no Hana Park
Energy saving LEDs
(Light Emitting Diodes) are used to light up Yokohama's harbor town during the
evenings during the Smart Illumination Yokohama event. Until the 4th, displays are
open at Zou no Hana Park, Yamashita Park and the Nihon Odori Station.
The city
attempted to fuse both art and illumination, said the committee sponsoring the
event. The artists include students of Yokohama City University, Yokohama
College of Art and Design and others.
Balloons toppled
and swayed as they changed colors (“Baloomination”), bicycles powered-up light
displays, rings of light illuminated from oval shaped lanterns and more.
Visitors enjoyed themselves while taking part in the experience.

バルーンを揺らしたり、倒したりすると色が変わる「バルーミネーション」＝象の鼻パーク
省エネ型の発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）照明などを用い、夜の港町を彩る「スマートイルミネーション横浜」が象の鼻パーク、山下公園、日本大通りなどで開かれている。４日まで。
都市観光とアートを融合させる試みで、実行委員会主催。アーティストのほか、横浜市大、横浜美大などの学生らも参加している。
バルーンを揺らしたり、倒したりすると色が変わる「バルーミネーション」や、自転車をこいで発電し、卵形の照明を点灯させる「０（ｚｅｒｏ）」などを来場者は実際に体験し、楽しんだ。
